I’m thoroughly impressed with the amount of people coming to my blog, seeing how its still in the beginning stages. People want to hear more, I want to apologize for not posting anything in a few days just a little busy. People are leaving comments and that’s great too, as I need feed-back or I wont know if any one’s listening. I can track my visitors, but I don’t know if there actually reading and not just passing by. So thank you for those who have left comments. Remember if you comment you can also leave a link back to your site, but please only if its relevant.
I know my readers are looking for more advanced referral methods, but not always do you need a advanced referral technique to get referrals. Sometimes you just need to make sure that you keep those profiles up to date. What profiles you ask, well any type of profile that you have for any site. Maybe you are frequently active with a forum, by the way if your trying to make some extra money online you really need to be. If you keep you signature and profile up to date with your referral links and banners then you will see referrals coming from that. Maybe you like using digg, stumbleupon, twitter and you have alot of friends and followers. Make sure your profile has links to your favorite money making sites. Link to your blogs, web 2.0 pages, or your referral links. People view profiles I like to view them it tells me alot about who I am following, befriending, or talking with. You can get referrals and traffic this way. Sometimes you can just get a referral by posting your referral link in the right place. Your profiles at all of your sites, forums, blogs, and sharing sites are good places to start. Posting your links at places like:
- youtube
- mayspace
- yuwie
- mylot
- ptc forums
- other forums
- digg
- stumbleupon
- blogger
- squidoo
- and or course many more….
I once new a person who was a member of Mylot one of my favorite forums. He told me that he had been active there for about 6 months. He also told me that he would constantly start topics and discussions about sites he was trying to get referrals for but never got any. After about 10 minutes of reviewing his situation I new what his problem was. He had a whole profile section that he could not only post links in but html and he wasn’t using it. After I got some banners, text, and links on his profile within 2 weeks he had collected a total of 34 referrals between 6 sites he was promoting. Profiles are there to help you so don’t leave them empty.
